"The Lord Jesus never promised a peaceful, uneventful, trial-free life. Rather,

peace within you as you traverse through life and all its trials."

We suffer in many ways when trying to follow Christ. When we conduct ourselves at work, with friends or loved ones, at school or at home, using the principles of the Christian faith, our conduct which is of the light is targeted by the darkness around us.

The Lord Jesus never promised a peaceful, uneventful, trial-free life. Rather, peace within you as you traverse through life and all its trials. When you are overwhelmed by suffering, whatever that may be -- spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically or financially, be encouraged and don’t lose heart. Don't give up when you suffer for doing good in Christ. (1 Peter 3:14)

“Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭126:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When we are tempted to throw in the towel in the midst of a trial, pray! (2 Samuel 22:7) When you feel alone in your struggles, don’t. (1 Peter 5:9) We are all part of the sufferings of Christ even if we do suffer alone. For Christians who suffer openly or silently trying to apply Christian values in your everyday life, know that the reward for your diligence is near. Because you are…

“…not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:11-12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Remember that our suffering is only temporary. (1 Corinthians 10:13) God will make it so that you succeed through all the tests and trials He ordains for you, even if you feel you might have failed. (Psalm 34:19) In the end, our hope in God, which is precious to Him, is what is refined and endures forever. (Romans 5:3-5)

“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Try your best not to be short sighted during a period of suffering. It’s not simple to change our minds and way of thinking in the midst of a trial, trust me! But one step at a time. Keep your head up and don't let your guard down, because the next trial is coming. (2 Timothy 4:2; 1 Peter 5:8)

As you and I fight the good fight, know that in the end across the finish line into the arms of Christ we will fall, and behind Him the voice of God our Father saying, "Well done, good and faithful servant." (Matthew 25:21)

God bless you in Christ Jesus the Lord, always.
