Purpose

My grandfather was a preacher for over 62 years. Before he died of pancreatic cancer in 2001, I asked him what his last sermon would be if he had to give it. He quoted the following:

Luke 6:43-44a (NKJV) - The Lord Jesus said:
For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. For every tree is known by its own fruit.

When my grandpa died, I was honored to give his last sermon at his eulogy. Since then, I’ve been taken down a road that God and His beautiful Son Jesus Christ my Lord have led me on that has been both painful, and wonderfully fulfilling. I have suffered the loss of everything, save short my children which by His grace, I will be able to one day leave this world knowing that they are safe and secure under His wings.

There have been many things that I have both suffered and have been the cause of suffering. God doesn’t pick perfect people. He picks the broken, the outcast, the guilty. I always say that if God only picked perfect people to preach His Word, NO ONE would preach it! And only because the Apostle Paul already took the title of “Chief Sinner”, I’ll simply say my sins forgiven are many. And for whom much is forgiven, much is required. (Luke 12:48)

So, here we are. This site is meant to provide insight and opportunity for growth in Christ. Both for myself by writing these inspirational Christian messages, and hopefully for those of you who read them. If you become a member of the site, you’ll have an opportunity to sign up for site Emails, as well as Emails of the Inspirations as soon as they are posted.

Ephesians 3:14-21 (NKJV)

“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height – to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

God bless you and keep you in our Lord Jesus Christ, always. May you be blessed Spiritually…and within that spiritual blessing, may God bless you through Christ physically, mentally, emotionally and financially.
